In the past, the domain of learning didn’t utilize much of the technology, so plenty of money was spent on training employees. There were various subjects broadly discussed in these trainings and most them were not meant for immediate applications but for future use. Now, this trend is changing drastically, as the broader subjects are divided into smaller subtopics which are easy to learn. Employees are also provided with easy accessibility to the learning material as and when they need it. The adaptation of gamification has made the learning more playful fun filled. Also, the utilization of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) makes the learning solutions more real. The training of employees can also be made more effective by using tailored learning material as per their capabilities and requirements. However, some challenges may remain in finding out a suitable solution for monitoring and assessing the performance of employees.
